Hello Everyone
I got my account disabled a few weeks ago, got no e-mail or anything like that. It just says steam account disabled. Why would my account get disabled. I have followed all the rules and never done anything wrong. Lately within like the last 3 weeks, plenty of users accounts have been being disable (I searched the forums). I have been working with steam support but they are not answering any of my questions. They want proof that I bought my games 3 or 4 years ago. I don't have any records from that long ago. One of the purposes of steam was to enter in my information once and never have to worry about it again. Is this a scam to make me waste more of my money to get the games that I already have? I offered to answer the security question, tell them old passwords, even get e-mails to the primary e-mail that hasn't been changed in years. Also the games on the account and most of my friends list (it is private). Do they not have the common sense to know that people would not have this information for so long especially through multiple moves to different cities. This is really starting to frustrate me. I never did anything wrong and the offer no explanation. This is starting to look like a big scam. I am very upset with steam support. Any constructive insight would be nice.
