got mine today but they are dated so they can not be used until oct 27th after 11pm pacific time.... so on the east cost where i am, no demo until the 28th. The question I have is why such a weird time to start the download.

Why would MS update at 11PST at night? That makes no sense. the mid day realease just makes sense to me.

They update in the middle of the night between 2;00 and 5;00 AM. It has been this way for awhile now.

In the PC forum someone said the time was BS... and the time would be more like 1pm PST. However the cards say if you enter your code to early it is wasted.

I'll probably just wait until the morning of the 28th. =(

11pm pacific isn't the normal time for the microshaft update, but the card says not before then or you lose it so I am going with the 28th. What you pointed to is the pc release date, which can be downloaded now, but won't activate until tuesday on steam. People should see me in the afternoon on the 28th playing it though if anyone wants to join.

If I preorder, let's hope that M$ still lets me DL the demo, for I is a childrens. If not, I'll just get it off Steam when it's available to the public, and play with some EPIC ♥♥♥♥ING LAG.

Well I am pretty sure someone will try their demo code from the GB forums so if it works for them I will inform you guys. But someone will post it up if it is working after 1pm PST.
