Do you mean 0,1,2,3,4 or 1,2,3,4,5 ? As you put 1 twice.

Yeah it's 1,2,3,4,5.. it puts my setting back to '2' which is HiFi in the .ini file every time, hope they fix it soon!

So that's..

SoundSystemSize=1 is Small Speakers
SoundSystemSize=2 is Hi-Fi
SoundSystemSize=3 is for Home Cinema
SoundSystemSize=4 is for Headphones
SoundSystemSize=5 is "War Tapes"

Does changing it actually work for anyone? Still haven't figured out if the speakers settings don't stay applied for just for a few of us or if it's everyone.

Actually we're incorrect. I changed it to 5 which is supposedly War Tapes but the game just doesn't start with that setting. So perhaps it is:

SoundSystemSize=1 and your game will use software mode to process audio.
SoundSystemSize=2 and your game will use hardware mode.
SoundSystemSize=3 and it will use XFI mode.

As originally stated.. But I have an X-Fi card and it won't let me have setting 3, just reverts back to 2 as usual.
