Valve pulled the EA rep's admin rights.

That's not what it looks like. Cry-Furyo is no longer working in Community and hasn't been since before launch, the thread was kept intact though

Come to think of it, EA probably couldn't pull this move without Crytek's approval. That means Crytek must have actually wanted to abandon Steam.

Crytek love and support Steam. We will remain on these forums and continue to answer questions and share information as much as possible.
