I can confirm that Impulse keys also work for Steam.
15 minutes ago I bought my SPAZ from Impulse. Installed their client, went to the My Games tab and clicked view registration. It came up with a key which I entered in steam, steam redeem it as Space Pirates And Zombies Retail (impulse). So get it before the sale ends!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
