I do not believe there is any global or fundamental flaw with the AMD FX Bulldozer CPU's, in regards to CS:GO. I test CS:GO on a Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD7, AMD FX-8120 (OC'd to 4.2GHz), 16GB 1600 DDR3 RAM, 2X AMD 7970 in Crossfire on a near daily basis. In addition, we have several other FX Bulldozer CPU's (4100, 6100 and 81XX) and no one has reported issues internally specifically on those machines. Of course I can't guarantee that CS:GO should run perfectly on your machine. However, the fact that it is running so hot (requiring an external fan), leads me to believe there is a problem with your PC.

One additional question, do you live in the Seattle area? If so, we could arrange for you to bring in the PC and we'll have a look.
