Engie Unlock Poll Nominations

If you haven't seen it yet, McTurkey Burger has created a thread that lists over 200 different Engineer Unlock ideas.

The problem is, with so many different ideas, it's hard for readers (and valve) to see what people like and what's just a random idea. Because of this, Burger and I have decided to team up and create a poll that will determine which unlocks are the best of the best.

This thread will begin taking nominations for poll spots. If you think there's a good idea out there, nominate it here with a link to the thread. There are a few rules.

1) Please do not nominate more than 1 unlock per category

2) You cannot nominate your own idea. You can only nominate someone else's idea.
Please provide a link for new entries so we may give credit to the creator.

3) Unlocks must have at least 3 nominations before they're considered for a poll slot, so nominate what you like wether or not someone else already has.

When nominating unlocks, it'd be a good idea to say a word or two on why you think it's a good idea.

The top 10 or so unlocks from each category will go on to the final poll. The categories are:

• Dispenser
• Teleporter

Note: some PDA unlocks are actually build-able sets. These may be nominated for all 4 categories.

My Ideas:
• Shotgun:

The Faceblaster Level 1 Steampunk Rifle
-65% reloading time (reloades 2 bullets)
-60% clip size (2 bullets in a clip)
-60% fire rate
-20% damage done
on crit 40% chance to empty target's main weapon's ammo, no extra damage
Alt fire: shootes 2 bullets, adding knockback to the fire, 70% chance to empty target's main weapon's ammo, -reloades twice long.

• Pistol:

The Utility Belt
Level 5 Belt
+50% Metal Carried
-30 HP to wearer
-uses 20 Metal on hit instad of 25

• Wrench: nothing really
• PDA: nothing really
• Sentry: its perfect like this
• Dispenser

The S.H.I.E.L.D - Safeguarding Handheld Infrared electrode Linked Device (need a better name here!).
Replaces the good 'ol Dispenser for the protection of your buildings. when you drop those guarding electrodes around a building, it will instantly add an infrared (or infrablue :O ) shield that will protect the buildings with 35% Damage resistance. once destroyed you'll have to wait 30 secs until you build another one. when a sapper deployed, the S.H.I.E.L.D will explode.

• Teleporter

The Speedomater replaces only the teleporters
Lookes like a teleporter but acts different. with this pad you'll be able to race a scout. simpaly. once a teamate step on this pad. he'll gain a speed bonus for 12 secs or until he shoot, depends of the class. also, like the teleporter, while on the speed boost you'll leave a trail of glow depends on youre team colors.

Scout: n\a (133%)
Soldier: Medic Speed
Pyro: Scout Speed (133%)
Demoman: Medic Speed
Heavy: Spy\Engineer\Pyro\Sniper Speed (100%)
Engineer: Medic Speed
Sniper: Scout Speed (133%)
Medic: Scout Speed (133%)
Spy: Scout Speed (133%)(As a spy, your as fast as a rainbow, so make some scouts cry )

It also has special cooldowns:
Level 1 = 20 secs of cooldown
Level 2 = 15 secs of cooldown
Level 3 = 10 secs of cooldown
Cooldown per Class
Scout = N\a
Soldier = 40 secs
Pyro = 50 secs
Demoman = 45 secs
Heavy = 30 secs
Engineer = 30 secs
Sniper = 30 secs
Medic = 1 min
Spy = 1 min


also, if you die, you cooldown will reset so you can use the Speedometer again. Each class can use The Speedometer twice while alive, after using it twice, The Speedometer won't be available for you (untile you die)
