Interplay needs to take advantage of Steam!
On Interplay's website it shows games like Descent and Stonekeep going to WiiWare. I'm at a loss. One Wii owner in every one hundred is going to be able to appreciate these games.
I understand that Planescape: Torment is in licensing hell, and that no one really knows who currently holds the rights (not even Interplay). I don't expect the Baldur's Gate series to be made available on Steam because of similar issues with Dungeons & Dragons and Atari/Hasbro. Even so, there is still a mother lode of classic Interplay titles that could very easily find a market on Steam. Case in point: there's already a vast library of Interplay titles on GOG. Battle Chess, Stonekeep, Freespace, Giants, Descent! I'd like to know if GOG has an exclusive digital distribution license for these titles. I suspect that anyone reading this thread would agree with me that it would be fulfilling to buy these games on Steam. All-in-one is the future. Remember your roots, Interplay! If you sell them, we will buy. |

Agreed. Also, take advantage of steams' tendency to put things on sale (hint hint Fallout Trilogy)
