Mac version?

I read on the official forums that there was no plan for Mac support for Shatter and that they're waiting to see how Mac and Steam plays out.

I just bought this game because it looks so cool and I've heard nothing but good things about it...and I can't even play it!

I'm probably going to end up setting up my Bootcamp Win7 partition again, since there's a lot of cool little PC games available on the Steam Summer Sale.

Hoping you guys give some more consideration to developing a Mac version of Shatter though! Thanks.

I don't see why there wouldnt be a mac version eventually. You have to remember that Macs are just starting to get recognized again as not being a "fringe" audience like Linux. The games I dont see coming at least any time soon are anything that is GFWL, and games that only a Mac Pro could run like Crysis. I know it sucks when you see all these great sales and cant bite because it doesn't support your platform of choice, but good things will happen in time.

Yeah, im running on this macbook pro, just partition yourself windows 7 with like 90gb of space. you'll be running smoothly.

Games like this are just too awesome NOT to be on mac, and I'd have a hard time believing that it would be that hard to port over. If Sidhe ever reads this, please know that I love this game, and I would love it even more if it were available for the mac. Thanks!

Shatter uses D3D, which requires windows, so it would be a pain to port over.

Won't stop them from porting but it would take a bit of work to do it.
