Post Kane & Lynch 2 DLC Announced for August 31st

"Beginning August 31, 2010 three unique DLC packs will be available for gamers worldwide, including a Multiplayer Mask Pack, Alliance Weapon Pack and Doggie Bag Pack. Each pack extends the Multiplayer modes by introducing more 'tools of the trade' and all-new heist locations."

just a heads up

looks like it will probs include the limited edition goodies that the US didnt have access to.

from Facebook :-

"Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days The DLC is premium but not hugely expensive. Details on pricing will follow soon."

"Square-Enix have also announced plans for 3 DLC packs to be released."

That just sounds pathetic. What will make it more pathetic is the cost of said DLC.

Oh. Paying for a 10KB unlock key makes it totally better?

This is so tacky, but not a surprise.

The point of DLC is to add things that couldn't be justified during production, either because of deadlines or unknown potential/popularity of the game. That's probably BS a lot of the time, but by pretending the level designers had a sudden burst of inspiration the developer at least shows players some respect, by acting as though the content wasn't ready at the time of release.

Since they had a release date for these DLC before the game even unlocked, it is obvious the content is ready now.

There are fees associated with console release of DLC, but if they charge for this on PC their name is ruined forever.

The ground-breaking art direction, relentless action gameplay and innovative multiplayer have received noteworthy praise from the critics worldwide and positions Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days as the standout shooter of 2010.

Oh my.

I didn't see a price on that "DLC". Don't freak out just yet. You guys sound like my wife who stresses over even when she doesn't have all the information.

Not that it won't have a price, just don't stress yet.

Lol what a pathetic money grab. Four hour single player for $50 then charge more for DLC scarcely more than a week after release.

Too bad no one is even buying the game, let alone the DLC.

wow cool.
next step is remove the finale boss and the ending from the game, then sell it for 12$ as an optional DLC.

An additional three levels appear in the menus, but they, as well as a number of the multiplayer weapons, won't be available until they're released as downloadable content a couple of weeks after the game is released.
