Every single Hard+ server I've joined recently has at least 2 members of the team playing with a class ranked 0 - 2. It's not funny, it's insulting to think that they're of any use.

It's fact, skilled or not skilled, a level 0 - 2 player CANNOT support the playing team through the maps well enough to compensate the exta enemies that spawn with them. They don't have the weapon damage/handling characteristics or discounts to access the useful weapons early enough to be of any use. It doesn't help when the game has just been patched and made slightly harder.

Tripwire need to level lock Hard+ difficulty games to stop clowns from wreking the game for those that aren't cheeky/stupid and want to beat maps. And they need to do it now.

For hard servers I look at it from another angle: As a level 6 player, I should be able to compensate for them, if they're having fun I'm fine with them playing there. Maybe they'll pick up a few tricks from veterans that they wouldn't have otherwise learned about playing with other low level players. I guess it also helps that I don't usually play to win but to simply have some fun and waste some time.

Though for suicidal and above, I totally concede your point.

Awww give them a break, not all people who are 1-2's are useless, maybe they played a long while but are leveling their worst classes. Don't make hard level servers an elitest only ordeal

I remember just before the imminent KF sale, i was leveling my level 2 commando on a hard server and knew that the moment the sale would begin, level 3 minus would be outlawed on hard+ servers.
Just use the votekick feature and play with friends until the sale has blown over and the idiots head back to their respective games, ie CoD + TF2.

As much as i'd like to think they are picking tips, they're still constantly dying and having us all die with them getting a grand total of 40 or so kills and even 3 games later. And y'know it's not all their fault, its because their class doesn't possess the ability to endure it all and they should have the intelligence to realise this. When I was level 0 I never went on a Hard or Suicidal server, I actually had the respect for those that wanted to complete maps and had the intelligence to know my class was too weak. Being level 6 doesn't always compensate, they're that useless. I understand that I might sound harsh but they are all facts.

It still happened before the sale, there's too many stupid people in this world it seems. This is why Tripwire need to implement this. No one can tell me that Suicidal and Hell on Earth difficulties would exist if the classes weren't improved as much as they are from level 2 - 6.

I join servers with relatively low ping that have open slots to play. It just so happens that they are almost all set to hard or higher. I have no intention of spending several weeks grinding out my levels in solo just to please some elitist snob.

It's called normal mode. Click the big ol' filter drop down to choose only normal servers.
Job done.
For some festivefun, when you spot a useless player in a hard server, get on your support character and weld them out. Guaranteed to cause a stir, and they'll probably rage quit.

You know I can understand your point here but the fact of the matter is just because you may be skilled at FPS shooter games does not mean a thing on killing floor. leveled up perks give you more damage and better discounts that you will need in order to be productive to your killing floor team and in order to just generally survive on suicidal/HOE. you will die before you even manage to kill ten to twenty zeds on the higher difficulty levels. but you are adding 60+ monsters that the team must now deal with you are also drasically increaseing there health. It is better for not just them but also YOU to play on easier servers so you can level and actually enjoy the harder servers. Why bother even playing on a harder server if you are dead withen the first 10 seconds of the wave I mean do you consider that fun?

Yes, filtering out empty server, full servers, and password protected servers, there are 2 "normal" servers among the first 30 servers when sorted by ping. One of them I get an error trying to connect to, the other is running some sort of custom map that times out while I'm trying to download it. Going further down the list, ping is over 100.

Even though I'm not rank 6, I often find that I'm the only person healing in the group. Ironically, though my other perks are 0 or 1, my medic and sharpshooter perks have shot to 3 within the last few days.

Had this situation a few times. I played a Manor game on hell on earth yesterday. four level 0 firebugs (All as pryo of course.) enter the game, and do pretty much nothing to help me, despite handing them cash and weapons. Wave 8, we all got slaughtered because one of the level 0 firebugs raged two FPs with his pistol.

Because of this one incident, I've decided to play with only friends and totally ignore pub servers until the event is over.

Thank you for sharing your experience DarkLiberator, unfortunately, it sounds all too familiar.

It's exceptionally rare that I get past wave 8 when there's level 2's or below and not enough level 5/6's to remotely compensate.
