Multiplayer Sacred Gold?

Hello, i purchased sacred gold today, and i tried to enter close and open internet and the next message appears:

CODE: 10026: Connect time out without connection..

What happens? There is no servers?

The "closed server" for Sacred 1 were shutdown 31th january 2009.
For an open server u probably need to set up your own dedicated. Not sure how it works.

my friend gave me an ip for that. we need to change the ip in the setting file. i dont remember wich one but i copy u mine lol...

it should work with that lol... and btw dont lose your time searching 3 hour on the net like i did why u got a -20 error code when u try to join a game ... go in your option and take 56k internet connection, not cable...

wippien is a new prog open source like hamachi. my friend told me that there is some games open in a public custom server...

this actually works no need to install wippien just enable the dedicated server in the sacred bin file and follow the instruction above

I bought the game a couple of days ago, and I'm also experiencing problems with Online play.

At first I was receiving the following message: "IP: Can not connect! Code -10021: Socket: The attempt to connect was forcefully rejected..()".

Now I tried the config settings listed above, and I don't get the error anymore, I just see the window with "Connecting.." written in it, and it can go on and on without any results or effects.

So I suppose there are no other ways to play the game with friends?

Another waste of money thanks to Steam.

there is no ppl playing on the official server anymore because it is too old

Even sacred 2 is old now i dont know if there is still ppl playing it mmhhh probably yes but... You better buy dungeon defender or torchlight 1 or torchlight 2 (at 20 $ will be out very soon. that was suppose to come out in 2011)or of course diablo 3 but that game seem to sux hard compared to the 1 and 2...
