Mafia 2 - Endless loading screen - Chapter 2

It starts after the bar cutscene between vito and < the other guy? > in chapter 2 and just never ends at all.

I've tried googling the issue, but I mainly find results related to chapter 14, and on the rare occasion that I do find the same issue in another thread, it is always unsolved

I was hoping that someone here might have experienced this and have a fix for it? Or at least be aware of this problem existing.

Also the game seems to run fine for me atm with no lag issues at all, I might test toning down the graphics settings in a bit however just to be sure.

I don't think you're going to get a very helpful response. He wasn't even sure what he did 10 months ago. What makes you think he will remember now?

I would suggest re-starting the chapter straight from the menu. Don't choose continue this time. Have you tried that yet? Shouldn't take too long. It's a pretty easy chapter compared to others (e.g., Chapter 14).

Well you could actually post the fix because other people are having problems.

He said he wasnt sure how it was solved, just that it started working.
For Mafia2, most times the fix is to restart the whole chapter, and play it over.
