mortar and the slow field singleplayer

I have searched the forums and haven't found an answer to this:

Why is the mortar and the slow field not available in single player? will it be in the release?

I heard that on the later maps there will be mortars and slow fields

The release version will have 3 maps. In single player it introduces a couple of new towers between each map.

The map we're playing in the demo is the second map of the game. The motor and slow field will be available in the third map.

Multiplayer however always has all towers available on every map.
