I just started it, but the first two things I saw were a really pretty/cool looking new landscape, and a Thompson SMG, so it starts good if nothing else.

it's a real pretty DLC, but content wise it is pretty lacking. if you want to explore some cool scenery, then i recommend getting it. if you're not the explorer type and you are more focused on story, i would say pass on it so you're not disappointed. this is just my opinion though, but i hope it helps!

I hated it personally, the acting and story was horrible, there were no jokes, no real choices and no shopping!!! I mean why is a caravan going to a place were the people don't even know what caps are, unless of course you want them to repair your armor. So maybe it was just me but I couldn't wait to get back to Vegas.

I love it, the acting is bad and the story is weak. But it's a game not realism. I hated dead money so I'm happy being out in open air again. If you don't like exploring what are you doing in the Fallout series?

If you like exploring the game then it's well worth it, it has a nice landscape, some weapons that fit in fairly well, and some interesting locations to explore and piece together a bit of the past.

If you prefer sticking to a story line that leads you by the nose then you will not get as much out of HH as an explorer would.

If you are the careless sort who might accidentally shoot quest NPCs you might only get about 10 minutes So yeah, careful with that.

It's content worth is based on you're build. Survival/Unarmed/Melee Weapons for example is great with honest hearts. Seems like it was made to cater to that group. Being able to make armor with the survival skill is cool.

If you're an energy weapon player on the other-hand, content is very meh as it was for me. It's obviously not designed for my current play-through so I got out as soon as I could.

Saving a proper journey into Zion for a new build that gets a lot out of it. It's just my opinion though.

I currently have the option to start the final mission after about 3 hours of play tonight. The new weapons are neat but they don't make up for the random enemy spawning system and mmorpg like scavanger hunts that the DLC is filled with..

I will say the survivor caches are awesome, and it's the only reason I am still in Nevada..

Just finished it (well, the main quests) and it was real good. The ending was rushed, and it crashed on me a lot, so that sucked. Other all though, it was a nice change of scenery and atmosphere, the combat was challenging, and one of the unmarked quests was very cool. Plus you get a colt .45 and a Thompson SMG, who doesn't like that?

I've got maybe 8 hours out of it so far, but I took it real slow (usually do). Worth the $9.99 for sure.

So you enjoyed having two giant cazadors spawning on top of you every other time you used fast travel?

It seemed like you got a mixed bag of Giant Mantis/Giant Cazador/Giant Bear dealy-0 spawning every time I fast traveled once I got about halfway through the DLC.

It felt extremely cheap/unfinished.

Thumbs up Liked it

I enjoyed HH overall. I thought it was light years beyond SM. That said there are some points to consider:

1. The Main story is rather short - you have only one decision to make in the main storyline. If you focused on the main story only you could finish within an hour.

2. The acting in SM was frankly much better.... Both Joshua Graham and Daniel are pretty one sided characters. Walking Cloud was an interesting character imo but there weren't any others.

2. The critters and tribals hit pretty hard hitting so take lots of stims, food, and anti-venom!!

4. Fast travel will usually get you jumped on by a local critter:
Giant Cazadors (very bad news), Giant Zion Mantis (one swat went through my MkII reinforced armor and took out about half of my lvl 35 characters hp!!, and finally the Giant Green Geko - the local equivalent of and adult deathclaw...

If you an enjoy just exploring a map (even a small one) then you will enjoy HH... If story driven rail shooting is more you cup of tea you might give HH a pass...

I enjoyed HH and think it was worth the $10. Dannythefool and t35 summed it up pretty well.

I had no issues with being jumped by spawns. It can happen in the vanilla game though so I guess there may be fast travel destinations in dlc where it happens as well.
