B: Swift_Hero vs. Spattercat --> Winner B
C: tesc vs. Winner B --> Winner C
D: Loser A vs. Loser B --> Winner D
E: Loser C vs. Winner D --> Winner E
F: Winner C vs. Winner A --> Winner F (1st place)
G: Winner E vs. Loser F --> Winner G (2nd place)

I am organizing a tournament with a $20 prize-pool for Sunday June 26.

Prizes:
1st Place - $10 via Paypal
2nd Place - $10 via Paypal

Format:
This is a double-elimination tournament, so if you lose your first match-up then you still have a chance to get into the finals.
All match-ups are 1v1, with the Finalists being spectated all of us.
Each match is a best two out of three rounds.
Round 1 Map is Triangle (individual abilities).
Rounds 2 and 3 Maps are chosen by the loser of the previous round (individual abilities).
You must lose to two separate opponents before being eliminated (or lose once in the Final match-up)
Match results must be posted in this thread, in order to update the Brackets.

Participants not showing-up in the first hour will be disqualified.

I'd quite like to take part, just for the fun of playing against several different people, but I guess it would be a bit unfair, considering I've been playing for about a year already!
If we could play with handicap (e.g. we play two on two with me having an AI Easy ally and my opponent having AI Hard) it might be fine, but if you want it specifically to be actual one on one games, then I guess not.

... which brings me to a rather important point: Your time list appears to be back-to-front! At GMT 8:00, it is currently 10:00 in CET, not 6:00 as you have it.

Yeah that confused me too that I used Google and the website put the timezones backward. Fixed.

You can enter the tournament regardless of how good you are. Which is why I made the 1st and 2nd place prizes the same.

Ok, I don't know Swift's Steam handle, though... I can't tell who he is, on the group list. We're both West Coast USA, so shouldn't be tough to get the game in.

A few recommendations:
- Any maps other than triangle, sphere, plane are probably way too big for 1v1. (The biggest maps only really work with lots of players.)
- But the other map options can give some nice variety within those (especially toggled faces).
- It might be nice if you save replays of the matches and put them up for people to see!
