Yeah. I was gonna run it through 'Can I Run It' and see how my computer would fare. I think it'll be fine, but better safe than sorry.

Judging from what I see and rumors going around. Specs might be as high as "The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings" if not higher.

Good. I can run Witcher 2 at max settings and still have 60+FPS.

I highly doubt this, Skyrim has to run on the consoles while Witcher 2 was made from the ground up for PC.

While I am sure the extra bells and whistles will require a high-end PC, you can certainly play the game on lower settings with a crap pc, I mean how else are 5-6 year old consoles going to run it?

They have a triple-core if I'm not mistaken. They also have a fairly decent graphics card (dated, but still) and enough RAM. Also, they don't have Windows or anything to worry about, so all the juice can go to your game. That's the thing about consoles.

I expect the DX9.0c will change to DX11 for recommended requirements if a GTX460/Radeon 5850 is recommended. If not, well, one more reason not to buy it at release.

If those specs are accurate, I'm glad to know that my aging computer can run it, at least until I can put enough aside to upgrade to something better.

Also if they changed the recommended from DX9.0c to DX11, they'd also have to remove XP from the recommended OS. I've heard elsewhere that DX11 support has already be confirmed, so the recommendation of only DX9.0c is prolly only for compatibility with XP.

I got an i5 2500K, 4GB DDR3 RAM and a GTX550 (OCed from ASUS). Should be doable on medium at least? I can't wait to play the game!

If the specs don't change much your rig could probably handle high settings.
