Can't bind mouse3?

Ok, so I've been gaming on the PC for well over 10 years now and have never used default controls (WASD) in any game. Instead, I use mouse2 for forward, mouse3 for back, and z and x for left and right. Only problem is that the game won't let me set mouse3 for back, and it's an essential part of my config that, if I can't set it, I can't play the game [well].

Is there any way to manually set it or override it so I can use mouse3 for back?

Sadly not at the moment, if someone is able to crack open the configuration.data file in the documents and settings/bethesda folder, then you'd be able to manually put it in.

Why not learn to play with regular controls? I know how you feel as I commonly used Mouse3 to reload, and in FPS games until recently, I used the arrow keys on the keyboard rather than W A S D, etc, but I took a little time to learn it and it was really quite worth it for DCOTE.
