never had issues with DI, but if this increases performance, even better.

Same. According to the RPS article they are fixing the dev build fiasco today so maybe this is the fix

I just booted it up and got some funky message about DLC and now my pre-order DLC is disabled. Way to patch.

Yup I just downloaded it too, and thanks to it my pre-order DLC is now broke and considered as a corrupted file by the game

This game WAS NOT A DEV BUILD. This was the version they intended to release. All this patch did was remove y clipping and some other non-relevant textual/junk file studd-which they accidentally left in.
It's just a terrible, buggy, half-finished, port--but it's precisely the terrible buggy half-finished port they intended to release. There was no error in releasing the wrong build. Last edited by colorado: 09-06-2011 at 09:04 AM. |

For once I'm actually glad I have a night job.
Looks like I'll just hold off starting this until all the issues have been worked out. I was going to start a Let's Play of it as well, god what a disaster that would have been lol. |

My game save was lost too, well my character retained the inventory but the life guard building, was closed and filled with zombies again.

All they have confirmed is that there were a few extra features (like y clipping) that were not supposed to be there. So all this patch did was remove these added development features (and a few added junk files and such). The core game files remain the same as they are the final build they intended to release (baring future patches, of course, which I am sure will come). |
