What do I need to do to get hl2dm server running?

Hi All,

I was able to get CS Source running by following some of the threads here. I used the HldsUpdateTool to get CS Source loaded into my server's c:\SourceDS directory. I then set up a server.cfg and got it running by using this

srcds.exe -console -game cstrike -port 27015 +maxplayers 8 +map de_dust -autoupdate

So I updated the other day, and it downloaded a whole bunch of files into the hl2 directory under my SourceDS directory. However, of the files that were downloaded, there were no server type of files to get hl2dm server going.

Where can I get all of the files that I need?

How do I get hl2dm running?

Thank you very much for helping.

Ah, it is hl2mp, not hl2?

I posted the cstrike as an example to show how I started the cs server.

So where does the server.cfg, mapcycle.txt, and all that good stuff reside for the hl2mp?

I am at work, I'll check tonight. Any further input is much appreciated.

Should be same file structure as cstrike, just that it would be in your hlmp folder.
