Hourglass cursor, unable to get past the main menu screen
I've had this problem for awhile now. I posted about it when the game first came out, then again a month later, and got no HELPFUL responses. Now that the game has been out for awhile, maybe someone has an idea of how to fix it.
I launch the multi-player, and it loads up, and I get to the main menu, and then my game cursor appears in the dead center of my screen (0,0,0), and my NORMAL cursor appears over it, except an hourglass, indicating that it's trying to do SOMETHING. In single-player, the game just black-screens/crashes during the load-up video. I can't even get to the menu on the SP launcher. Any help is appreciated. |

This game will not run very well on a single core CPU, what you are discribing is a fault that happens to most single core users.
If you have a multi core CPU then make sure all cores are working correctly |

I'm on a dual core, and they are working correctly.

Happened to me. Verify the game cache, and Steam should download the correct files (about 7 MB for me) and it should be fixed.
(I've only seen the problem when going into SP, because I never play multiplayer, so I don't know if it had the same problem) |

Try deleting your config file then starting up the game.
