F1 2010 says my ID comes from unsupported region but it isn't...

Whenever I try to connect onto Live in F1 2010 it now says this:

Can't connect to LIVE. You may be using a Windows Live ID from a region that is not supported by LIVE.

Fair enough. Apart from my LIVE ID is from the UK which is a supported region. (at least I should hope it still is...). Tried a few other games that use GFWL and they work fine signing into LIVE.

Last time I played F1 2010 was about 4 weeks ago and it worked fine (logged in and could play it). So far I have tried reinstalling GFWL and F1 2010 to no avail.

If anyone has any ideas, it would be most appreciated.

Solution:

Ensure that Xfire is closed. For some reason they now conflict with each other.
