How is the single-player?
I'm interested in Brink, but primarily for the SP. The plot sounds interesting but I was wondering if anybody could comment how long it is or how well it's played out. I have neither the time nor available bandwidth to try it out right now, but if the campaign is at least as enjoyable as a Big Mac combo, I'd like to grab a copy.
Most of the achievements sound like they could only be achieved through MP, which leads me to believe that it may just be status quo 1-2 hour SP campaign. Also, I have no experience with the developer's previous games. Thanks Edit: Sorry, I missed a topic on the front page asking the same question. Seems like SP is just MP+bots. Shame, really. |

Unfortunately it's not very good. The a.i. is poor which ruins your immersion in the story.

Non-Existent
The "story" of the game is presented in little cutscenes that play before each match and offer no level of immersion or characterization. The entire world of the Ark is simply a shallow concept that's not explored at all beyond the whole Security Vs. Resistance thing As for the actual gameplay, nothing more than bot matches with terrible AI. Just another reason that this game isn't even worth the five dollar sale price |

It's singleplayer because you are playing by yourself so you are the singleplayer.
