Strange Problem

Hello everyone,

I am having problems with the black screen issue. I launch the game, I hear sound and music and can "navigate the menu" but I can see nothing.

Now, I tried to run the three files:

"And run the following files:
dotNetFx35setup.exe
dxwebsetup.exe
xnafx31_redist.msi"

But I can't get them to run. When I double click them they sit there and do nothing. Ideas?

What are your system specs? Especially your videocard.

I have the following:

AMD Athalon II X4 640 Processor 3.00 Ghz

4 gb ram

NVIDIA GeForce GT 430

Does that give you any more info?

This is pretty obvious so you most likely already tried it, but have you tested right-clicking on them and selecting Run as administrator? It's the only advice I can give you with my limited computer knowledge.

What do you mean by "they sit there and do nothing"? Do you get anything on the screen, or you run them and nothing ever pops up?? If it's the 2nd then I would say you have bigger problems. Possibly some kind of security program blocking stuff.

And what do you mean by you can "navigate the menu"? Does that mean you can see something? Anything?? Can you take a screenshot?

Also, have you tried updating/reinstalling your video card drivers??
