This game is really fun. Great atmosphere and fun gameplay...

I wonder, why didn't they ever patch this game to make it run better?

I mean I've got a pretty beast system and it still lags very bad...

2 x gtx 480 sli
8 gb DDR3 1333
1000 Rosewill PSU
640 Western Digital Caviar black Sata III 6/GB second
Windows 7 home premium 64 bit...

Maybe you're trying to run everything at max...

Simply said this game needed more time to optimize it.

Anyways check the "Performance Guide" Thread here at Steam forums... for some settings that are close to optimal in both performance and graphics.

Cryostasis(2008) was mostly hard game for hardware before Metro 3033. Developers both this games from UA.

I stopped buying anything 1C, they always have crap games that don't get fixed. This game has always ran like garbage and they did absolutely NOTHING to attempt fixing it.
