No Sound + Black Screen after Main Menu

Hi,

I just bought BTR the other day during the Holiday Sale. I was able to fix the VC Redist issue by following advice on the forum, and tried installing the OpenAL redist, to no avail.

Here are the contents of my game.cfg:

Code:

Fullscreen = yes
Resolution = 2560x1600x32 @ 60hz
WindowSize = 1440x900
VSync = yes
EnableVibration = yes

From when I start the game, to the menu, I have no sound, but I am able to see the menu. When I go to select anything in the menu (a level or see the options page), it fades to black, and never comes back.
