I thought that I will share with the forums here as well, that there are already a few user maps made for SS3 and for SSHD as well, all hosted on the Seriously! forums (and/or on the russian Serioussite.ru). This may seem to be shameless self-advertising, which it is, but I don't only post links to my maps, but for others as well, as since the mapping scene is small and everyone deserves some light, especially those who are way more talented than me. And these games need some love anyway.

Is there any servers that anyone knows of that do the custom maps for survival?

Nope, as far as I know. There are no official servers in Modded mode, and the custom maps are not yet known that much. This is why I posted them here on this forum, because a more larger and more diverse amount of random people go through here, and get to know that, yes, there are custom maps for these games.
I wish the official forums were just a little more popular.

Why? Just because they agreed to protest against something that is bad? I was surprised that Steam forums weren't down either. Or facebook. Or the whole google searching services. That would have made people care.

But anyway, still. It was just one day down. There was a time when everything crashed and the forums was down for months. And now you don't return because it was down for a day. Like... why even I bother with this, it makes absolutely no sense. Like if you hated the forums for some reason, then why is one day of a blackout made you go away?

Because it is a discussion forum and they gave links and information to only one side of the story. There are two sides to every story and they only included one side heavily filled with propaganda...that is not something I would expect from a discussion forum. And joining forces with pro-piracy groups and criminal hackers just seems hypocritical of a site that bans users that pirate games. I don't visit forums to be forced to take political positions or to be used as someone's pawn.

And why in the world would you think the Steam forums should have been down? Do you think Valve likes their software being pirated and not being able to do anything about it? How about all those sites copying their Steam login pages in order to scam people out of their accounts?

Dude, going against SOPA is not pro-piracy, it's pro-internet/free speech. Search and learn about SOPA, PIPA and all those so you see what it was all about. What do you think, Wikipedia and Google is also pro-piracy because they blackouted as well?
