Low FPS problem...please help
I have NVIDIA GeForce 310M 1Gb and when I play DoD:S my FPS are between 15 - 22. When I use recommended setting (1366x768) have 15 FPS, when I use low setting (1024x768) have 22 FPS.
While playing I see wrong textures (dead men standing with outstretched arms and legs, Totem of the corpses in the middle flag maps avalanche) you can see it there: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/7...0/screenshots/ Please tell me how can I solve these problems. |

Have you updated the video drivers?
The 310M is an entry level video card for laptops and not considered a gaming video card DODS is also very dependent on the CPU speed. What are your notebook specs? |

Notebook Asus K52JC
Intel Core i3 350M with 2,26 GHz 3 MB L3 Cache 2 cores, 4 thready 4Gb RAM DDR3 1066Mhz NVIDIA GeForce 310M 1 GB Hard Disk 500GB 7200 RPM Serial ATA I have updated video drivers, I have the newest. I understand that my video card is not primarily intended for gaming, but when I play Left4death2, Half-Life 2, all Company of Heroes, Portal 2 and much more, so I can definitely play DODS. There must be a way. |

I also got Asus and nVidia card and I also did have problems with FPS drop. Have you tried to look at your nVidia control panel and define 3D parameters?
My settings are: Texture filtering - anisotropic sample opt : OFF Antyaliasing - transparency : OFF Vertical Sync : OFF Try with them or other settings, I think it's graphic card problem, not DOD:S. Rgds |
