Has anyone downloaded the Hi Res DLC after using the fan based HD textures from nexus? If so what are your thoughts? Is the DLC worthing using over community version? Thanks Creadoris. |

the "high res textures" are twice or tripple as better than "vanilla" textures, but those "fan made" textures are photo realistic 1k-2k-4k-8k resolution, witch makes skyrim photo realistic "real".
Vanilla was 512x512 textures. |

The DLC pack is pretty crappy in my opinion. It's only good for NPC clothings.

The official ones are good, the fan based ones are much better. You can use them together as long as you use an ini fix, and you might want to do that because the official ones replace a lot of files. So it makes a good base on which to them add the fan based ones.
One thing you should know though, the official ones may be smaller individually than the fan based, but because they replace so many texstures, it can cause stuttering when the textures first load. |

If you want high res textures, you might want to have an graphic card witch has high memory clock. the higher memory clock, the faster the textures loads.

I use the High Res DLC together with the Skyrim HD mod and Flora overhaul mod.
