steam crashes on startup

So, as usual, the update broke steam.

Mine seems worse than many... steam itself crashes on startup. Sometimes it tries to update then crashes after downloading about 40 megs...

Previously steam worked fine, tf2 worked fine.

Now I cant even get steam to load.

Pretty weak, Valve. Regretting upgrading to a paid account.

Tried deleting steam then re-installing. No luck.

Mine is doing something. Crashes then can't restart properly.
