I am creating a SP Episode 2 Mod, called Half-Life 2: The Lost Canals, and it has at some point the TF2 style waterfall, which requires TF2 particles/soundscapes/materials, but I don't want it to be a bulky Mod that requires you to have all of the orange box, so is there a way of extracting the particles and soundscapes from the GCF and placing them in my Mod?

okey so add this under the additionalcontentid (blah blah blah)
AdditionalContentId 440 if you need any more help post your gameinfo.txt and il just edit it for u so ul have the mounted content or if you dont want to mount TF2 there are GFCScape,GFCExplorer look it up on google,but make sure u put somewhere in the game that there are stuff from TF2 |

Just use GFCScape and extract your wanted files...
Do note that I am pretty positive TF2 models need to be converted for SRC 2007 use, everything else should port right over. |
