[Req] Weapon Model request for skyrim
Basically i have this cool idea for a model to the game but i am well not even a noob at modelling.
This will be a Two Handed Sword I am looking for a pro modeller that can help me out if you would like to. I dont have any money or anything like that but i can put you in the credits. This is my own idea please do not steal this idea and say its your own work. I need a first person model and a third person model of course with the right naming schemes: Armageddon I know this is kinda a noob thing but hey... Heres a picture of the model i want. http://oi40.tinypic.com/5ceogo.jpg Last edited by denni199: 02-19-2012 at 11:00 AM. |

If you really want this, try requesting it at the SkyrimNexus.

However, I have a slight problem with "but i can put you in the credits." See in a situation like this, since I'd be doing all the work, and you'd only be providing the idea/design of the sword, it would be reversed. The mod would be under MY name, and YOU would be mentioned in the credits. As long as you're ok with that, I can do it for you. |

You don't need to model anything for this. Use WoW Model Viewer and import to blender, change file type, export to Skyrim. Only thing you will need to do is Draw a better texture, since WoW's are pretty low-rez.

Steps:
1. DL WoW Model Viewer and open it 2. Got to weapons, find it, export it to a location. 3. Import the (.obj i think?) into blender 4. DO whatever you need to do in blender, change file type (nif rite? Haven't used meshes in awhile) etc. etc. 5. Put mesh in appropriate folders 6. Load up CK, make a new weapon and define the mesh as what you put in the folder. 7.??? 8. Profit Quote:
This guy has been spamming Beth Official forums demanding someone do this for him, and let him take credit for doing nothing but throw up a poor MS-paint image of a weapon from another game on teh webs. I think it's fantastic you are someone who is willing to provide their time to someone, but among the candidates to provide time for, this guy would be ranked pretty low imo. |
