New Player here, Just wanted to say hi!
Hello all,
I just made the purchase and wanted to make a post to the forum to show any other new potential buyers that there are others who play still. It will be a little bit til I enter the Multiplayer fray, I find it best to learn the game first. ![]() anyone recommend the 2 expansions? Will I have a smaller online pool of available games without them? |

Hi Grid, welcome to RUSE - the single player campaign is ok, but the MP is really where the game shines. Be warned though - it will take a bit of time to learn the basics, but once you do it's great. The Japan dlc is worth getting at they're a very good nation to play with - the other one has a couple of decent MP maps in it but otherwise isn't amazing.

Thank you!
Ya, I'm enjoying the SP very much. It's a novel idea with the whole Ruse system. It's a shame they did not incorporate this in there later title "Wargames". I considered on buying that one, but due the the Artillery imbalance mentioned on the forums steered me away. I grow weary of games that are not balanced. I use to live in Iwakuni (near Hiroshima) from 1977 to 1981. It was durning High School. I sure loved it over there. I am sure much has changed. I wish I remembered my Japanese but it has been a long time and if you do not use it, you lose it.
Greeting my friend in Japan, from your Gai-jin friend in America (actually koko-jin). LOL |
