hi.
on what command you enable auto-aim again after the newest patch like it was in previous versions? can't seem to find the option in in-game settings. i'm using a xbox 360 controller, and enjoy, in the spirit of the old survival horror games like silent hill, resident evil and dino crisis,to focuse on atmosphere, narrative and fluid gameplay without being distracted and stressed out by precision aiming - and i felt that the auto-aim in alan wake was very subtle and not by any means overdone when using a controller. btw if auto-aim has been completely discarded then please bring it back again as an option Remedy - the more you can customize your game the better thanks for the help!

360 controller should have "auto aim" (or rather "aim assist") enabled. It was just disabled when using the mouse.

You mean the flashlight behaviour, like it was before the patch, right? The flashlight instantly aimed for an enemy, no matter where you were looking before. That was really more auto-aim than aim-assist, and I think it was not intended to be like this.
The aim-assist should help you slightly correcting the crosshair, when it's already close to an enemy. |

Aim assist works for me using the 360 controller, but only when aiming the flashlight, which is the way it's been from the start.
