Class 70

Isn't the Class 70 supposed to be out today? I am assuming it will be released later this evening

I've been twiddling my thumbs and checking all day waiting for this release, it's been a long time since I've been this excited over an expansion!

Edit - It has arrived!

A face only a mother could love.....

Sadly the colour scheme doesn't make it look any better.

lol, I think the class 37 is the ugliest loco ever created, looks like a weiner dog on wheels, the freightliner isn't the prettiest, but its a good train to drive

I'm shocked and appalled in equal measure.

Compared with some of the US and European locos the 37 is quite good.

Try the Alstom Prima
http://www.railcolor.net/index.php?n...mage&position=

And the US C39-8 is ugly
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GE_C39-8

Described in a magazine as 'A collection of unrelated boxes on a common frame'

LOL

Its funny - that's exactly what we brits feel about the locos from every other part of the world.

Personally I find every loco 'ever' ugly and boring except the locos I knew when I was a trainspotting pre-ado between 1970-1975, and I can narrow that gap even further by descriminating against the southern region locos and also any multiple units anywhere!

TOPS killed my interest in locos stone dead - they must have renumbered some of their locos about 3 times, which made keeping track of what I'd 'spotted' and not spotted im-flippin-possible!

I did love the WR hydrolics though.

I rather like it,has a bit of character. There'll soon be repaints for it on UKTS.

I'd extremely love the Color Scheme of the Class 70!

As someone said above - it has character to it unlike some other classes take the 156 in my opinion.

Reading the summary this thing was jointly developed by General Electrics and built in Pennsylvania USA.
