No sound during the cutscenes

When googling it, the only solution I found was to update DirectX. The thing is, it's already up-to-date.

Anyone know of a fix or workaround?

Can you try running with -forcestereo command line as well as check that your windows speaker configs are correct?

I have tried everything that has been suggested in the forums. all sound and graphics drivers are up to date, as well as directX. -forcestereo and -forcesurround don't work either. I have been at this for a while.
