Pleasantly surprised

Great $10 game deal. I was a little reluctant at first after reading some of these posts, but it was well worth the plunge. I have only played some of the economy campaign so far and winning the maps was a little frustrating at first, but once it all clicked the game became very enjoyable.
A few graphical glitches and one freeze were the only bugs I've encountered so far, but then I discovered my ati video drivers were almost a year old, all was well once they were updated.

Hope Devs can afford to keep improving this game, I'd even be willing to throw them a few bucks for some DLC.

Hi Narkul,

I'm really glad to hear you are enjoying Stronghold 3. Please note that Firefly's post-release support of the game isn't over yet! We will continue to support the game with fixes and new content, which will be patched into the game.

If you do encounter any bugs please send a report and any relevant save game(s) to sh3_support@fireflyworlds.com. This will cut out the middle man and allow us to look into the issue for you directly.

I'm having trouble placing my building as I can't tell the size they are. Is there a way to enable a little box that goes around them or a grid mode so I can plan my locations better and make them fit easier? thanks

@JohnyNormus.

If you're missing graphically effects in-game, such as rain, water, fire or the outlines on buildings when using an ATI video card. You can resolve this problem by switching off AA within the Catalyst Control Panel.
