i wont be buying until they release a demo or sys reqs. gta iv was so horrible optimized on release and l.a. noire recommended 8GB RAM & GTX 580.

Gonna have to see a lot more evidence it's a true MP games before going for this one. Gonna wait for a video walkthough for the first chapter or two since I doubt we get a demo. I already have my doubts with them replacing the cartoon panels and whether the game will still have a dark feeling like the other two have. Also if he isn't talking to himself throughout the game, "Mickey Spillane" style like the others, it's just another shooter. From what I've seen so far and it does look nice graphically, it feel more like a Borne or Bond movie with bullet time to me currently. I'll wait on the 2013 Summer Seal unless it bombs so bad it's $5 at the 2012 Christmas Sale.

I will wait for all the reviews from everybody saying how it isnt max payne, and a lousy port that doesnt have any re-bindable keys or video options, and then will buy it on sale sometime.

As I already own MP1 & 2 (two of my favourite games), and don't care for cosmetic changes, I won't be pre-ordering.
Until I hear that it doesn't have negative mouse acceleration, limited FOV, lack of AA, insert other consolitis here, I won't be putting my money down :C

I've seen confirmation that there won't be a demo released.
I'd quite like to know how well my PC could cope before buying it too.

Tried to sign up for the rockstart forums to ask about pc specific settings, couldnt even get past the captcha (and, you have to re-input ALL of the info again every time the captcha fails).


Maybe a rockstart dev will come on these forums, so we can ask.

i was excited about this game but this threads brought me back to reality, its not going to be as good as 1 or 2, thats a fact, and its probable it'll be a bad port. like absolutely every game nowadays, no-one puts in any real effort to make games as enjoyable as possible, its just a business now.

According to Rockstar, Max Payne 3 is not a PC port. The game has supposedly been developed from the ground up with this platform in mind.

And sure the game probably won't be as well written as the first two, but the gameplay will be infinitely better. Have you watched any of the Design and Technology videos?

Sorry, but have heard that way too many times to count, and we still get things that HAVE to be there/done a certain way because they WILL be porting to consoles.

In other words, I will believe it when I see it.
