Hilarious Mispronunciations

What is the worst that you have heard someone mispronounce something.

L'Etranger (as in "L-Tangle-er")
Grenadiers Softcap (as in "Gren-E-durs")
Machina (as in "Ma-China")

Anyone else hear people mispronounce item names very badly?

I heard L'etranger pronounced as Let-rang-er. I heard Phlogistonator pronounced Flog-stee-non-ater.

Someone once said "Facade, can you teach me your ways? You're clearly the best at every aspect of this game and have killed me and my comrades dozens if not hundreds of times, it would be unfair if you did not share your unrivaled wisdom of Team Fortress 2" but he actually pronounced it as "Scr-ub". Not sure how that happened though, he must have had a speech impediment.

You won't believe how many people haven't looked up the pronunciation of "Claidheamh Mòr". Hint: it's like "Clayf more", not "Clayd more".

I pronounce it "Clad dee mah Moar."

And the Phlog, I can't pronounce or spell it.

I usually just call it the "Flog."

Claymore is essentially what we call that sword today. The older pronunciation I've heard as clayfmore and claythmore. Dunno which one is more accurate but you can call it a claymore and still be correct.

I've always pronounced uber as oo-ber. I'll be honest, I've no idea on the definitively correct German pronunciation but I'd wager that's right.
(Typical, no Germans online when I need them. ¬¬)

Wait, what am I saying. The medic himself claims to be the Oobermensch!

It's really simple, actually. I don't get how so many people have problems with it.

I just call it the "shan-shan-shan-shan-shan".

Anyways, someone called the Machina the "Machinima", and another person called it the "Maw-shin-aw".
