Tay bridge
Anyone else notices that on the SECML when travelling north the old foundations are on the left yet when travelling south again they are on the left

I've driven over it a few times now but didn't notice. I must look closer next time. Marvellous route anyway and I like the Forth Bridge at night

I just drove in both directions, and the piles from the old Tay Bridge are always on the East side of the current bridge (toward the Firth of Tay and the North Sea).

I take your comments boilerbill, i know if in the same scenario back and forth the piles are on the same side, but if you go north in one scenario and then travel south in a different one the )piles do seem to be on the left both times, unless i have a slight problem with my gadget, Malcolm.

Here is a shot leaving Dundee at the start of the "Voyager VT Dundee to Penzance 1st Leg" scenario: http://i711.photobucket.com/albums/w...vingDundee.png
Here is a shot entering Dundee at the end of the "Edin to Dundee" scenario: http://i711.photobucket.com/albums/w...ringDundee.png Both screenshots are looking in the same direction, toward Dundee. Different scenarios, same result. The old bridge piles are clearly on the east side of the current bridge in both shots. |
