Population forumula explained

There was a request for explaining the exact formula for the population earlier, but unfortunately that thread was closed.

So here's the current formula (it might change at some point)

30000000 * (
0.7 * (favourites_during_last_week / global_favourites_during_last_week) +
0.3 * (times_played_during_last_week / global_times_played_during_last_week)
)

The global numbers are favourites and times played for any published cities, while the other two numbers are the numbers for the city being calculated.

So the absolute maximum population is 30000000.
