Well, actually, the OP linked to a video which did get deleted. I posted with a link to someone else who uploaded it, and that did work. Then, the OP edited his post and changed the link to point to the working video.

I wasn't the only one who noticed. And I just watched one of those commercials yesterday. they're everywhere! And to tell you, I would be more annoyed if they didn't use JK Simmons. That's all.

Yeah, he also plays Dr. Skoda on Law And Order (or did, since that series was canned), and that cynical Jameson guy in the Spiderman movies.

Like other voice actors that worked for Valve I'm sure that they do all the lines on call, I can't see that they'd anticipated everything up till now, though I don't know how long it takes them to make those videos. He might have recorded them several months back, or just before release, depending on how they do the videos.

He's so completely perfect for the role, too.
