Weapon switch?

I'm on level 5 or so, a boss worm thingy, and still not seeing any way to swap weps. Am I missing something?

I've smacked him about 20 times and he ain't dead so I'm assuming a better wep is needed.

I assume your talking about the Sophit, But yes, theres a much easier way to defeat it. At the beginning, instead of choosing the bottom choice, select the top that has (hard) next to it. Basically you hunt worms and other beasts. Not only do you get a new game mode (Grim, which you get your Singing Stones from), But when you get to that round, you will have a sharp sword that takes only a few hits to defeat it.
