stop cheats

has anyone seen the petition against steam allowing hackers to play on the servers, some one has gone to court with a petition to stop these so called big wigs of stealing our money and doing nothing to stop the hackers yeah you cry steam does stop cheats.. all i say is like hell they do and im for all the petition to stop leeches like steam killing a game every one loves ive looked every where for this petition any one seen it cos im all for it

And how do you suggest Valve stop cheaters? Hmm? VAC does delay bans to catch as many as possible in one swoop. But I understand that this is not ideal for some people. Do you suggest that they should immediately ban a cheater once caught? What's to stop him from going back to his community to warn others from using those specific cheats?

Cheating can't be "stopped", but rather cheating can get harder, but do tell, what is your solution?

I'd love to see these games that "steam" is killing... you know... since "steam" is a program.

Valve on the other hand bans plenty. If this is yet another MW2/3 rant, blame IW/Actibliz.

I don't cry that Steam stops cheats. I cry because you used a single comma and incorrectly typed an ellipsis, leaving no other punctuation. Ow, my reading eyes.

That does not even make any sense. They provide an anti-cheat system at their own expense. They are under no obligation to provide an anti-cheat system. And the servers are privately owned, so how can they be responsible for the activities on servers they do not own?

VALVe doesn't knowingly allow hackers on their servers. If you have some fancy new technology that does a better job of banning them that VAC then please, do share. Also we don't know what petition you're talking about. Link?

How is steam leeching what ? you have to pay games even if you buy them somewhere else... so every store/online store is leeching something because someone bypass the anticheat?

valve dosnt allow cheating, why do you think they implemented vac? maybe if this is a call of duty rant (which i bet it is) you should take it up to activision, not that they will give a ♥♥♥♥ what you say.

What game are you referring to? Valve is only responsible for servers they host.

You sound like a little COD kid who thinks everyone with more skill than them hacks. If you want better MW3 servers, the only company to blame is Activision for not having admins and miss.

I'm pretty sure you just made up a petition.

they do stop hacks, if vac wasnt around, we would be seeing way more hacks in games, if they go on a vac secured server they will be banned (in time), but if they dont there is no way to be caught unless you have a demo and report it,mabey you should play on vac servers for now on, instead of non vac.

steam doesnt kill games if anything it helps the whole pc market, if steam wasnt around i wouldnt be a pc gamer id still be in the stone ages of console gameing.
steam is the biggest digital software distributor (correct me if i made wrong term), and im pretty sure one could argue that if steam wasnt around there would be a BIG drop in pc gaming.

This rant is dumb enough I almost believe he actually works for Capcom. I honestly can't tell what he is asking. Apparently he wants a petition for something. Possibly to help cheaters or is it to stop them? Something about big wigs stealing money.

As the companies are not allmighty to stop any cheat at once and before it even happened, no games are allowed to be sold goods. Same for family card games, knowledge related games (education is an unfair advantage)....
