Hide them Postcounts!

I think forums with a hidden post count lead to better posts.

Having people farm postcounts is also counterproductive to the whole reputation thing.

Why would people farm postcounts? And it seems to me to go hand-in-hand with a reputation system, it gives the rep context. Somebody who has 100 rep and 1000 posts is very different from somebody who has 100 rep and 50 posts.
