Steam- Don't forget our FREE Weapons pack DLC for Pre-order Customers.

I noted Steam removed any mention of the Free Weapons pack dlc on the pre-order page for GOT (RPG).

Why they would remove the information is beyond me. I am sure Steam is aware we pre-order customers are very aware we are owed the dlc.

Hopefully we will be seeing it very soon patched in our game.

Weapons Pack

Can you post the details of the weapons pack? Now that it's gone I can't find it anywhere.

Thumbs down

I might just ask for my money back for the following reasons...
1. Prima Guide was released 4 days after launched - was promised when purchased
2. The 15 Steam Exclusive weapons pack is still not available for pre-orders and technically breaks the agreement of sale.
3. My bad luck and the Developers of the Game of Thrones over sight (on a really bad port) to support a 7.1 Logitech G35 Headset that cannot use with the game without audio shuttering and slowing.

This has been a pretty lousey product on the side of developer and distributor. I would love to play my game but it looks like not support for my headset and not promised weapons pack is the kicker.

This is like buying a car and the salesman says we will give you your tires later.

These are Steam issues.

You do realize that testing every peripheral on the planet for compatibility is impossible, right? Also, I don't see why your headphones would cause audio issues. Does the game have audio issues without the headphones?

Thank you for responding. I am very aware that companies when releasing a game can't meet everyone's PC requirements. That said, I have 100+ games with Steam and about 10+ with Gamergate and all work with the G35. Typically a company will make a game and make sure it is compatible with 2.1 to 7.1 speakers/headsets. That is not the case with Game of Thrones since it is a below average port of a game. As far as I can tell from the forums is it supports 5.1.. maybe. I have run into this problem only once before and that was the game Templar which was another bad port.

Edit: My end point is that it is the fault of Cyanide for not covering the "basics" like the other 100++ games/companies have in the past.

Cheers
Keg

Just noticed that there is now a DLC section underneath links on the details page for the game. There isn't any DLC listed when you click on it but this might be a good sign for incoming weapons pack.

Wow 14 unique looking weapons as a pre-order bonus. Soon they'll be selling fancy hats, sparkling ponies and horse barding...
