A steam support member would never ask for account details.

No admin will contact you for personal information over steam. And why would they seeing how valve owns and runs the servers. Also I would expect an actual admin to actually know how to use the English language properly and also spell Italian

Not to mention Italian is misspelled. That was my first clue looking at the picture.

A misspelling is the first clue, first clue should be the big warning that no one from Valve will contact you about your steam account over the friends network.

Yes but that might not always be obvious, given people can make their display name say whatever - they can make it look real. Even if they manage to disguise it well enough to fool someone, that misspelling won't get them too far.

It's fake and seriously, you need to report this guy. Valve claims zero responsibility for scams so your report could save someone else a lot of gripe.

Ask your self one question, why would Valve need your username and password EVER when they already have them and they know, because you are signed in that you also know them.
Once you answer that question, your set to have some fun with a highjacker. Give them random usernames and passwords until they get frustrated and go away, it can get good fun. Opps sorry that was my paypal email and pw.. sorry thats my other pw for my other account with lots of games etc... and report there profile always. |

It's fake. We don't ask for account credentials. Please use the "Report" button on the profile of users who contact you in this manner to bring them to our attention.
