Is a FOV changer bannable?

I'd like to change my current fov, but I heard the fov changer for MW3 was bannable.
I'm not sure if this also counts for MW2, anyone has experience with it?

There a devs says a fov changer isn't bannable, but did anyone get banned in the meantime? It's 4 months old.

Well VAC delays are pretty random, but I guess I'll give it a shot. Thanks tho.

The delays are usually between 2days and 2 weeks.

And i'v been using it for well over 4 months
