If you are having problems with your account, the forums are not the appropriate place to post asking for help. Examples of these would be:

- Forgotten Passwords
- Suspended Accounts
- Issues with purchasing on Steam
- Hijacked accounts
- Refund

It IS appropriate to ask general account questions:

- How do I create an account?
- How do I register a CD Key?
- What games does a package or CD Key include?

If you are having a problem with your account You MUST create a Support incident and provide as much account information as possible, including valid proof of purchase.

Since the Forums are not moderated by Valve Employees on a full-time basis, it is impossible for the moderators to help with these requests. We will be moving account questions out of the forums. I hope everyone understands that the reason for this is to help resolve account issues as quickly as possible.
