Question on Ded. Server

Is there a way to use my one account to set a server on my laptop and still play on my computer.
I know I could run a dedicated server on my computer and play on it but I would like to set it up on my laptop
I would have use serach but the search is not working at the current time

What you can do is create another account with no cd key and no possible game to install, and you are now able to download the Source dedicated server tool for free and create your server from there and use your other account to play on the other computer....

I run a dedicated server and play on another PC with the same account details, the only thing after I update the server and go to join from my pc it tells me my steam ticket has expired and wants my details again. I just put in my details and its fine till I do another server update.

alternatively, follow the instructions in the sticky to use the hldsupdatetool.
